OneCare Geelong is an initiative of local Christian churches committed to responding to the needs of the Geelong region. OneCare seeks to respond to these needs by providing both services and social connection to those in the community.

The strategy for doing this is built around a pathway of recovery and ultimately individual and community transformation.
OneCare’s community hub in Geelong West offers a number of services including:

• Professional, low cost counselling services,

• A weekly community meal catering for up to 50 people at a time. The main purpose of the meal is to provide an opportunity for community interaction and to reduce isolation,

• The COACH (Creating Opportunities and Casting Hope) mentoring program that offers targeted one-to-one support for families at risk of isolation, poverty, conflict or addiction. Trained coaches are matched with participants to give them a helping, supportive hand to work towards agreed goals,

• Broadband for Seniors in which volunteers provide free one-on-one instruction to over 55’s that give them confidence in using computer technology and addresses the issue of older Australians feeling isolated and "left behind" in a technological age,

• An eating disorders recovery group that addresses the needs of eating disorder sufferers.
