The C.O.A.C.H. Community Mentoring Program establishes much needed relational support for families and individuals who are finding life challenging. Mentors are sourced from local churches and are trained to come alongside, build confidence and encourage mentees towards change.

How it works

Referrals to the program are made from community and government organisations serving Geelong or by the individuals themselves.

Both mentors and mentees commit to the program for a minimum 12 months with a strong focus on relationship building and working towards goals.

Mentees come from a variety of backgrounds wanting to address all sorts of issues such as parenting, life skills, workforce participation, addiction, education, training, and cultural competency skills such as English language support. C.O.A.C.H. Community Mentoring has been proudly developed and supported by Crossway Lifecare and Mission Australia
